A few of the things I’ve made
A glimpse into the forms and surfaces I’ve been exploring—
a collection of pieces shaped by curiosity and care.

About me
How it all started…
My journey into ceramics began with a simple, imperfect bowl thrown on the wheel—an object I had shaped with my own hands and could use. It felt like magic. That moment sparked a lifelong fascination with how form, texture, and function shape our experiences with everyday objects.
With a background in industrial and graphic design, I’m deeply attuned to how people interact with objects—how a cup is picked up, how a bowl fits in the hands, how something as simple as weight can influence comfort and connection. Function is always top of mind for me; my pieces need to feel effortless to use, almost invisible in their utility, yet still invite touch and engagement through form, texture, and colour.
I’m inspired by the simplicity and soul of Japanese and Scandinavian design, as well as the rituals of eating and drinking. I love the way a well-made object can enhance life’s quiet moments—cradling a warm bowl of soup, breaking into a loaf of homemade bread, savouring a perfectly brewed coffee. I work with both wheel-throwing and slipcasting, embracing the spontaneity of shaping clay by hand and the precision of repeated forms. Sometimes, I like to alter casts of everyday objects, transforming the mundane into something precious.
Above all, I hope my ceramics bring joy—not just in their beauty but in the way they feel to hold and use, creating a connection that is both tactile and deeply felt.
